I saw this place on Yelp and it looked pretty good. As it's just me I arrived at 5pm, when they open, to an empty restaurant and was told there was no room unless I wanted to sit outside. Then they said they had 1 table inside but I can only stay for an hour. I understood, I came with no reservation and was thankful they could still have me.

Service was just okay. My meal wasn't bad. Honestly wasn't anything special. I knew people with reservations would be coming in soon so I made sure I finished my meal before 6pm.

Glad I tried it but will try something else next time I'm in Vancouver

I probably walked by this place a dozen times during visits to Vancouver, and it was always full. So I got smart and booked a table, glad I did. Small intimate room, compact menu, sunny patio.  Nothing fancy.
Pappardelle "red' and a glass of vino made the perfect lunch. The pasta was so perfectly balanced with beef rib, bits of chicken, rich sauce. I got hungrier as I ate it. Delicious. I'll be thinking about it for a long time. Till next time.
My 2020 Resolution? Try everything on that menu. Oh, great pro service too.

We had theatre night at the Stanley Theatre and this was close enough to hit before our 8pm show.

What a treat! This small, unassuming but authentic Italian restaurant is perfect for a night out, special romantic dinner or if you're craving homemade pasta.

The service was excellent, be sure to make reservations.  The seating is tight, but it's dim and romantic so we didn't notice other tables much.  We were seated with olives to start and ordered Aperol spritzers.  We got the 'date night' deal even though it was us girls. It includes 2 appies, 2 entree pastas, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine for $122.  And we were soooo full! I couldn't finish my pasta and we didn't mange to finish the dessert.  But it was sooooo delicious!

We shared the burrata caprese, and bruschetta with prosciutto to start, pasta scoglio and 'house' ragu for mains and Tirimisu and Panna cotta for dessert.  Both appetizers were so delicious and packed with flavour.  I'm a huge burrata fan and this imported Italian one is amazing and sooo creamy!  The bruschetta was fresh, with prosciutto, Gorgonzola cream and pine nuts, with a touch of honey! Such great melding flavours.
The pastas are freshly made every day and you can taste the difference, perfectly al dente.  With fresh seafood and tons of garlic, I was sooo happy.
I was so full, that by the time the desserts came, I don't think I was able to fully appreciate them. But they were amazingly creamy soooo yummy. The panna cotta had a fresh berry coulis and the Tirimisu tasted so much like coffee and cream, it was the perfect dessert combo!

I would recommend taking two hours to eat if you want to really enjoy everything as we only had 1.5 hours and it wasn't quite enough time.  So that means we will definitely be coming back soon and take our time to enjoy this amazingly charming and delicious place.

Found this cozy restaurant tucked into the bustling Yaletown strip while checking out the sushi spot next door. Having glanced at their menu, I put it on my list of restaurants to check out.

Finally got to try it and I'm glad I did! Their pasta is delicious - generous well-sized portions that don't have you feeling too stuffed. My friend and I ordered the pappardelle and spaghetti alle vongole to share - both the dishes and were fresh and flavourful! Although the dishes were quite rich, it was very balanced and we cleaned both plates easily.

We pretty much only came here to grab a quick bite as we were craving pasta, but our short and sweet visit did not disappoint. We felt welcomed entering the restaurant (although underdressed in gym attire lol) and were even seated promptly without reservations.

I'd highly recommend this spot for anyone craving Italian food, and it would make a cute date spot as the atmosphere is very cozy and intimate; with a nice wine list.
